Yahoo Messenger Vista Preview Review

Well the new yahoo messenger does look good. Hardly been 10 minutes since i've installed it.

Yahoo has done a lotta changes with the interface. The new GUI is like Vistas Glass design.







Theres a small button which on clicked pops to life and enables you to choose the scheme for the Messenger theme and this scheme is rendered dynamically much like how wallpapers are shown directly on the desktop before you finally apply them. You can also change the scheme of each individual IM window. Like ur main Messenger can be grass while your gf's IM window can be Blue.





Another thing seen is there is no menu bar. The interface is clean and appealing.

If you right click in the lower half of the Messenger you get the menu for choosing what you want like preferences or adding a contact.




Even in the IM window if you want to insert an emoticon, then the emoticon is displayed with animation when you hover ur mouse over the emoticons.




All and all the new Yahoo Messenger is looking good. Hope they make it more memory efficient and remove out the lag.
